Mahfuza participated in the Delhi and Glasgow Commonwealth Games, Guangzhou Asian Games, the World Swimming Championships in Dubai and Barcelona, and the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku. He was in Greece and Colombo to attend a special seminar at the invitation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). At the invitation of the Government of India, the players have traveled to various sights of India as representatives of the players. Mahfuzai was the flag bearer of Bangladesh in the last SA Games in Kathmandu.
